Changes to my Study Programme
When I finish my degree, I'm supposed to be able to know food completely, whether in it's preservation, composition or creation.
I'm currently in my second year, and so far the only subjects I have studied are the common module, which all the courses in my faculty have. These subjects are supposed to give us a base for the subjects that will come in the third year, for example, calculus, chemistry, electromagnetism, etc.
The truth is, it bothers me a little that being in my second year I have not seen any subject that is directly related to the career, because although my career is mostly chemistry, in the common module they do not teach us anything related to food.
In spite of this, I have to thank the professors that I had in these subjects, since I'm a person who finds it very difficult to understand at first, and the professors always make an effort so that all the students understand, in spite of having to explain many times, besides, they always leave us support material with which to study and all those things.
For this reason, I think that what I would change about the program would be how the subjects are distributed, because even though I have one or two subjects related to my career in the first two semesters (in fact, this semester I didn't have any subjects related to my career) I don't think that they are really what I expected, so I can only wait anxiously for the third year.
